My current bike is a Tumbleweed Prospector. It is a mountain bike developed specifically for bikepacking with heavy loads – she is perfect for the rough tracks of South America.
I have already been out in Patagonia with Mathilda.
The journey began with the Beast – a Rotor Meteor from Leipzig. It was the perfect bike for the first stages of the bike trip and has carried me more than 55,000 kilometres all the way to Chile. A detailed description of the Beast can be found here.
